Manic Monday: Random Facts

So, it is Monday...

Gross.

This post is all about random facts.

#1
I spent my 21st birthday with my best friend and my family. I did not go out and rage. At all. I went to the Cheesecake Factory and came home. I may or may not have drank a half a bottle of wine.

(Yes, my sweet poppa has his eyes closed...lol)

#2
I have one tattoo. I got it the day after my 18th birthday. It is three shamrocks that are intertwined which represents the bond between my grandma, mom and I. My grandma passed away when I was 10 and I was extremely close and absolutely adored her!

#3
Andrew is 7 years older than me and he always like to joke about it. He seriously prides himself on the fact like he will be thirty this year and I will only be 22. Sweet baby Jesus.

#4
I got Roscoe when I was away at The University of West Georgia. My parents did not talk to me for two weeks and were so incredibly angry that I got him. I went home to visit them and try and smooth things over and my parents instantly fell in love with him. (sidenote: I have transferred)

Seriously, he is the cutest little baby.

#5
I get that I look like Reese Witherspoon ALL the time! What a complement right!? Yes, she is my favorite actress ever and I love when people say that I look like her! I honestly think it is just the chin. LOL
I have zero make up on in this picture. Please do not judge!

Alright,

I hope you ALL have a MARVELOUS MONDAY!

Sunday Shenanigans

Happy Sunday y'all!

I hope you all had a fabulous weekend!

Also, thank you so much for stopping by Southern Grace! I appreciate you reading and I am so thankful that you are taking the time to come visit!

Friday

I was the definition of boring.

I did watch movies, but this is what I watched...

"Welcome to GOODBURGER, home of the GOODBURGER, Can I take your order!?"

We laughed so hard and it was the perfect movie to watch while not feeling the best. I love a stupid comedy.

Saturday

I felt so so so much better on Saturday and I was ready to get out of the house!

We were so excited to go to Dave and Busters with Rob, Sherri, and baby Lyndsie! We had such a great time!

We all left Dave and Busters and then we went to my parents house to eat dinner and visit.

I swear, there is nothing better than a home cooked meal! My brother and dad smoked the meat and my mom made the sides. It was fabulous! Also, Sherri brought goodies from our FAVORITE bakery! I probably gained five pounds...no big deal!

Sunday

My mom and I went to the early service at Fusion Church! It was really nice to spend the morning with my mom and worship with just her. After church, we went to Panera Bread for lunch and started talking about the wedding

The next stop was the Georgia Bridal Show and we were both very excited to see what the event had to offer! It was a lot of fun and I was glad that we went! I am having my wedding in Michigan and it was a little hard to explain that to over multiple vendors. I did get a lot of fun and unique ideas and I am so excited to use them in the wedding!

A quick selfie.

Now, I am watching the Red Carpet for the Grammy's!
(Sidenote: I LOVE the red carpet!)

Alright, I hope you have a great night!

Check back tomorrow for a fun post!

Tyin' The Knot Thursday?: The Wedding Party: Part 3

It is almost the weekend y'all!

You can make it!

Thank you once again for stopping by Southern Grace!

Today, we will be talking about the awesome guys that will be apart of our wedding!

Best Man:

Roberto

This is not only Andrew's best friend, but also his cousin! They have been inseparable since they were little and act like they cannot stand each other constantly. They spent their childhood playing the video game Earthbound and eating a tremendous amount of Little Ceasars pizza. In High School, they were either at Jedds eating fireballs (with Rusty) or somewhere else where Andrew was trying to get the "Chicks". The college years were filled with a lot of beer and games that needed alcohol to play them. The happiest day in Andrews life (well, maybe top five) was the day Rob and Sherri moved to Georgia. Rob is the shy one, but he is also hilarious! I love their friendship and I am thankful that Andrew has such a great guy to be one of his best friend!

The Three Best Friends

Groomsmen:

Rusty

This is Andrew's other best friend. Rusty is honestly the funniest man on the entire earth. He is the guy that makes Andrew laugh so hard he cries and keeps him on his toes! Rusty, Rob and Andrew went to an all boys Catholic High School and they always had each others back. I love that whenever Andrew and Rusty see each other it is like they just saw each other yesterday. Rusty is the comedic relief to the group and I love that he has played such an important role in Andrews life!

Charlie

I have not met him yet, but this guy was Andrews roommate in college! I have only heard great things about him and funny stories that include him! I know that Andrew loves him and is so excited to have him be apart of our big day!

Tom

Mr. Tom is Andrews dad and he wanted the man that he looks up to most to be by his side. Andrew loves to go fishing, fix things, and drink beer with his dad! Mr. Tom is a hardworking man who loves his family and has taught Andrew many valuable life lessons! The two of them together is pretty funny and they could spend days telling each other stories. I love it!

Big Tim and Little Tim

Growing up, Andrew wanted to be just like his older brother, Tim. Tim has been an incredible role model for Andrew and he couldn't wait to ask him to be a groomsmen. Andrew loves to go back home to Michigan and hang out with his brother. When they are together they do their favorite ...FISH, share stories and drink beer! His brother is a laid back easy-going guy and I am so excited to have him as a soon to be Brother In-Law.

Andrew is the God-father to his oldest nephew, Timmy. Timmy will be our Junior Groomsmen and we are so happy! He is smart, quiet and is working towards becoming an Eagle Scout! He loves the outdoors and Minecraft.
We love you!

Keegan

My brother absolutely adores Andrew and looks up to him as an older brother. Andrew is the first guy that I have dated that Keegan actually liked and didn't want me to kick to the curb. Andrew thinks Keegan is the coolest 17 year old and wishes that he could have been more like him when he was 17. They joke around and make each other laugh all the time. I love that my bubby and Andrew both love each other and have a great relationship! It made my brothers day when Andrew asked him to be in the wedding. Seriously, it was the cutest thing ever.

We are so blessed to have all of these men in our lives!

Thank you for reading!

I wanted to do a separate post for the kiddos that are going to be apart of our wedding!

They call me "Aunt B to Be"   and I just love it!
I am honestly so excited to be their Aunt and apart of their lives!

Flower Girls:

Miss Evy is seriously so adorable and full of personality! She is the youngest of the family and an absolute doll!

LILLY
This is one of the happiest little girls I have ever met! Lilly always has a smile on her face and loves to be silly!

Ushers/Chair Movers

JOSH
Mr. Josh is so funny and very smart! He says the silliest things and we are constantly laughing when he is around!

BILLY
Mr. Billy is extremely smart and quick witted! We love his dry sense of humor and quick comebacks!

Secret Job
Shhh!

The three girls have a very special and secret job that they will be in charge of for the wedding!

Katie
A natural born leader! Katie is a fantastic cheerleader and very, very smart!  She is such a beautiful and fun young girl! Seriously, she will be the first woman president. I swear.

Lana
Funniest little girl! Lana is always saying the darnedest things and she is an absolute crack up! She is a super cute cheerleader who always has the biggest smile on her face!

Betsy
This girl is full of personality and spunk! I love that she is so confident and embraces herself! Oh, and she just started to play hockey! How awesome is that!? A beauty who plays hockey? (her dad is in trouble in a couple of years, right!?)

 8...

Timmy

Mr. Timmy has a very special job! He will be a Junior Groomsmen and I will talk more about him tomorrow!

My future nieces and nephews are so sweet, funny and I love all of their unique personalities! I can't wait to watch them grow up and get to know them all better!

Oh, and we couldn't forget the...

"Ring Bear"

LYNDSIE

Miss Priss is Rob and Sherri's daughter who we absolutely adore and love so much. She loves straws, Minnie Mouse and to always be on the move! Lynds is filled with so much joy and it has been so fun watching her grow!

Thank you so much for reading!

Check back tomorrow to read all about the guys!

Wedding Wednesday: The Wedding Party Edition Part 1

Hey Fabulous Readers!

This post is all about the amazing ladies in my wedding!

Bridal Party

Matron of Honor

JoJo

My mom is my absolute best friend and I am so blessed to have had such an encouraging, gracious and tough-lovin' momma! I have pushed her buttons like no one else and she continues to love and support me with everything that I do. Our motto is: We fight hard and we love hard. I love that she is always teaching me life lessons and being an incredible example of a devoted wife and mother. My mom is the sassiest, most beautiful (inside and out), and giving woman around. The best complement that I ever receive is when people say that I remind them of my mom or that I am just like her. It is such an honor that I will have her right next to me when I marry the man of my dreams!

Bridesmaids:

Brittany Jones

I love this lady more than all of the Nutella in the entire world! My B.Jones is living her dream in the Navy and I am so incredibly proud of her and her strength! Yes, my bff and I have the same name, but we have really cool nicknames. She is my Pepper and I am her Salt. I love that I can go to her with anything and I mean anything...and she will not judge me. She is the first person to tell me that Andrew was the one and it was after our first date! She gets me like no one else and I am so grateful for such a inspirational friend who constantly lifts me up!

Brianna Marie

This is my Oppy. Bree is the smartest, most giving, and loyal friend that I have ever had. Bree and I have endless memories that involve soccer, dance parties, stupid boys and honestly too many to list! We are starting a new chapter and I am so excited to have her back in my life. We have been friends, more like sister for a very long time, but I moved to Georgia and it changed our relationship. I made mistakes which resulted in Bree not being apart of my life for a couple of years. Yes, it was my fault. I am thankful for her forgiveness and love that she has always shown me and my family. I honestly love her like she is my actual sister and I am so proud of the woman she has become!

Kelly Elizabeth

This beauty has been my friend since 1st grade y'all! We were on our first soccer team together and we did a dance in our school talent show together. Yes, it was Tearin Up My Heart by Nsync* and we had matching tye-dye outfits with matching scrunchies. It was everything. Obviously, we have always been a pretty good team! I have so many fun childhood memories with her and I love that we are still such good friends! Kelly is such a great example of a strong independent woman who loves unconditionally! I am so lucky because I know that we will be friends forever!

Channing Elizabeth

This is my first best friend, ever. Our dads coached our first soccer team and we were basically meant to be best friends. Duh. We have a lot of soccer memories from over the years and I love that we could play against each other, but hug after the game. Ms. Smarty Pants graduated from the University of Michigan and is currently in Law School! Yeah, she kinda set the bar high, right? I love my Channing Elizabeth so much and I am so thankful for our life-long friendship!

Sherri Mak

I absolutely love her and I am so thankful for her friendship! Sherri is married to Rob who is the Best Man in our wedding! I met her soon after Andrew and I started dating and I knew that we would be really good friends! She is hilarious, fun and one amazing mom! Oh, she also is a terrific Zumba instructor who is in fantastic shape. So, yeah...I need to go to all of her classes before the wedding. ;)

Junior Bridesmaid:

Meg

I am so excited to have my beautiful cousin in the wedding! She is an honor roll student and I am so proud of her! Also, not only is she a smarty pants, but she is funny too! Seriously, she is a CATCH! I love this sassy girl so much!

I am very blessed to have ALL of these ladies in my life and I am beyond excited to have them be apart of this journey from Miss to Mrs.

Thanks for reading!

Brittney

I got ENGAGED at a yard sale!

Hey y'all!

Thank you for stoppin' by again!

Yesterday, I told you that I got engaged at a yard sale...

Well, I want to explain and share our fabulous story!

History:  On our first date we went to TGI Fridays.
(He wanted to go to this fancy restaurant and I was like um...no!)
Our waitress was suggesting drinks and she said that a particular drink was the reason why she got engaged! Again, we were on our first date. It was awkward, but I said I would try it! We have been together ever since that date and we fell crazy in love with each other!

One of our favorite things to do is to go to yard sales on Saturday mornings. It is our thing. We make the time to go every Saturday morning and we have so much fun!

On July 27th, I woke up early and got ready to go to yard sales, but I had no idea that I was getting ready for my ENGAGEMENT!

We went to a couple of yard sales, but there was one that I was really excited to go to.
It started at 9:00am and we had to get there asap. The ad said there was Coach and Vera Bradley purses and this girl NEEDED to be the first one to snatch them up!

We arrived and there were no other cars...
Plus, the garage door was closed...

Well, I will let y'all watch the rest!

I was in complete shock and it took me a couple of minutes to process everything.
After I got it together, I cried and I was on cloud nine the entire day!

My grandpa took us all out to brunch! I loved having my family there on our special day! It was perfect!

We went back to our first date spot, TGI Fridays that night! Also, it was the place where he asked my parents for my hand in marriage. Yes, he asked both! :)

(We rode in this to the restaurant)

We had the absolute best engagement and I cannot wait to be married to that man! He made it perfect for us and I love sharing our unique story!

Thank you for reading!
